Bart D. Williams III, MD, DMD

Bart D. Williams III, MD, DMD, Bart D. Williams III, M.D., D.M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama, Dr. Williams received his Medical degree in 1992 and Dental degree in 1996, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in a duel degree program that requires residents to complete both medical and dental school, a general surgery internship, and four years of additional hospital training in surgical residency. In addition to the full scope of oral surgery, Dr. Williams has a special interest in dental implants and oral facial reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Williams is a Fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as holds membership in the American Medical Association, American Dental Association, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the Greenville Technical College Dental Programs.

Dr. Williams is committed to volunteer mission work, the Greenville Free Medical Clinic, and the Facial Anomalies and Clefting Evaluation Team (FACET) Clinic at the Center for Developmental Services. The FACET Clinic meets to evaluate and make care plans for children with cleft lip and cleft palate anomalies. In addition, he maintains a strong interest in educating others and doctors through invited lectures.

Dr. Williams is credentialed and provides services at Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center, Bon Secours St. Francis Health System and Transylvania Community Hospital in Brevard, North Carolina.
